At Sports And The City, I write about the plight of Toronto’s sports teams. The Maple Leafs, and the Blue Jays. The Raptors, and TFC. I probably should acknowledge the existence of the Argos, but the Buffalo Bills have my football heart. What I’m trying to say is: At Sports And The City, I write about suffering.
Yet through all of the hard times, hope remains. Without it, we wouldn’t be fans. Which is why I travel the internet leaving “PLAYOFFS!!!1” in my wake.
Remember: it could always be worse. You could have been born an Ottawa Senators fan. Or a Pittsburgh Pirates, Kansas City Royals, or Baltimore Orioles fan. You could have fallen in love with the Vancouver Grizzlies, only to watch them leave, and never look back. You could live in Buffalo.
Toronto. All day, everyday. Until we die.
